W&M Campus Garden
Rent your own space or have fun in the community plot!
The Campus Garden promotes growing, eating, and learning about healthy and organically grown food. We provide supplies and gardening advice so both new and seasoned gardeners can get their hands dirty! The garden consists of multiple raised beds and is located behind DuPont Hall. W&M students, faculty, staff, and residents of Williamsburg may rent a plot seasonally, on a three-season basis that corresponds to the college's academic schedule.
If you would like to get involved in the garden, join the Campus Garden listserv at lists.wm.edu to learn about events, workdays, and outreach opportunities.
CURRENTLY
The campus garden is accepting applications for plot space until February 21, 2025. Completing the application will enter you into a lottery system for plot selection. Plots are for rent ($10 a semester) and basic supplies are included.
For information about renting a plot, volunteering, garden hours, or any gardening-related questions please contact the campus gardeners within the Office of Sustainability at wmcampusgardens@gmail.com
