Malcom Gethers is the Recipient of a Southern Regional Education Board Doctoral Scholarship
Malcom Gethers已成为计算机科学系有史以来第一位南方地区教育委员会（SREB）博士学者。 The SREB-State Doctoral Scholars Program is part of a nationwide initiative, the Compact for Faculty Diversity, to produce more minority Ph.D.s and encourage them to seek faculty positions. Developed with support from the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Ford Foundation, the program offers financial support and other services to doctoral scholars nationwide. With more than 500 graduates, and counting, the program currently assists more than 300 scholars actively pursuing Ph.D.s.
