The Meyers-Stern Scholarships in Judaic Studies
Through a generous gift to Judaic Studies at William & 玛丽 in 2014, Ruth Stern Hilborn ’28 established the Meyers Stern Endowment, the income from which provides scholarships to students to engage in study and research related to Judaic Studies anywhere in the world. 奖学金提供学费、食宿、交通和研究费用,可用于暑期学习、学期或整个学年。 The amount of the scholarship varies, but generally a student may expect up to $4,000 for summer study, up to $6,000 for a semester, and up to $10,000 for a full academic year.
Application Procedure:
Students should submit a letter of intent stating the program, institution, or site where they would like to undertake the study or research; why it is important and how it contributes to their undergraduate education and what they hope to accomplish. If the proposed study or research will include work in a foreign language, please describe the steps you have taken (or will take on-site) to acquire the necessary language skills. A detailed budget, including other sources of funding from W&M, should be submitted with the letter of intent.
Applications are awarded on a rolling basis. Please submit your letter of intent using this form.
