Professor of Biology and Director of the Center for Conservation Biology, Bryan Watts, in a September 13 news advisory shared Center's compiled 2024 breeding performance results for osprey in the Chesapeake Bay. The study shows ospreys continue to experience poor breeding performance due to starvation. Numerous media outlets shared the findings, including Washington Post, Daily Press/Virginia Gazette, Chesapeake Bay Magazine, the Southern 玛丽land Chronicle, Public News Service, Baltimore Fishbowl, WTOP News, and Bay Journal.
