Hear from a Student
"As an animal and marine science lover from Baltimore, I always dreamed of working at the National Aquarium. Over the summer, that dream came true and I worked as a herpetology intern. Every day, I prepared the rain forest animals and habitats before guests arrived. It was truly an irreplaceable experience and has provided me with new paths to follow as I work towards building a career surrounding animals and research." — Allison Thorne '26, biology major from Baltimore, 玛丽land

Outcomes
Many biology graduates move on to the most prestigious medical and graduate schools, vet schools and professional positions in careers related to a broad range of important issues ranging from human health to global environmental issues. While graduates share a degree in biology, they later work in fields as diverse as medicine, environmental management, research, industry, science communication and law.
