Cedar Hall

New in Fall 2025!

Cedar Hall's approximately 270 residents enjoy living in rooms that range from singles to doubles, suites, and stand-alone arrangements on four floors. Residents enjoy the learning commons, study rooms, program rooms, and lounges throughout the building plus an outside patio.

Cedar Hall is part of the Jamestown Triangle along with Hardy and Lemon Halls and a portion of Cedar Hall houses the Sharpe Community Scholars, a living-learning community extending William & 玛丽's long-held public and community service tradition.

Cedar Hall's first floor includes 19 bedrooms each with an attached bathroom, a large laundry room, staff apartment, office, patio, single use hall bathrooms (toilet/sink) multiple floor lounges, program rooms, study rooms and a social lounge for resident use. Stairwells are near the ends of both wings, and a stairwell is near the central entrance. The elevator is near the central stairwell.

Cedar Hall's fourth floor includes 16 bedrooms each with an attached bathroom, 18 bedrooms with access to single use hall bathrooms (toilet/sink/shower), a single use hall bathroom (toilet/sink) near the common areas, a central kitchen, a study room, and multiple lounges for resident use. Stairwells are near the ends of both wings, and a stairwell is near the central entrance. The elevator is near the central stairwell.

Furniture Specifications

The following table provides information about the furniture in the residence halls. Please note these specifications are only a guide, and furniture may vary from room to room.

Lofts, carpets, futons, TVs and microfridges can be rented from Dorms Direct. These items are set up in the room before check-in and removed after check-out in May by the supplying vendor.
