Preparing for Life as a University Student (PLUS)
Looking for something exciting to do this summer? Apply to the PLUS program.
The purpose of the PLUS program is to provide a summer experience as students transition from high school to college. Through this program, students are introduced to academic and social life at William & 玛丽, allowing them to participate in several different activities that help to foster academic success, belonging, and community and leadership development. Student will also get the chance to interact with some of our most distinguished faculty members. During the PLUS Program, students will engage in mock class sessions, become familiar with numerous campus resources, gain invaluable insight from professors, and learn the importance of a work/life balance.
PLUS is a great opportunity to meet other incoming and current William & 玛丽 students, beginning that all-important process of networking and community-building. Being part of the PLUS program and engaging in these activities is a chance to interact with our Five Pillars:
Academic Success
Community and Leadership Development
Flourishing
College to Career Readiness
Belonging
These five pillars are the core of PLUS, providing students with a well-rounded experience as they enter the William and 玛丽 Community. PLUS is sponsored by the university, so your decision to attend William & 玛丽 allows you the opportunity to participate in the program. *Please note that all costs (room/board, food, and other program fees) are covered by William & 玛丽.
