- Total cost of attendance is frequently 50% less than that of similarly nationally ranked private universities for Virginia students and 25% less for out-of-state students.
- All applicants are automatically considered for merit-based financial awards.

What's New at W&M?
- Integrated Science Center (ISC)
Integrated Science Center (ISC) construction has begun on the fourth ISC building which will house mathematics, computer science, kinesiology and design/engineering.
- W&M Athletics Complex
W&M Athletics Complex includes the renovation of Kaplan Arena and a new Sports Performance Center with an expansive strength and conditioning area and a full-sized court for the basketball and volleyball.
- Housing & Dining Comprehensive Plan
Housing and Dining Comprehensive Plan will overhaul 80% of the university’s housing inventory either by replacement or renovation, as well as provide two modern dining spaces.
Commonwealth Impact Program
The Commonwealth Impact Program is part of our ongoing commitment to partner with high schools to identify talented students who will thrive at William & 玛丽.
Through this exciting program, we invite school counselors, advisors, administrators and college access organization supporters to nominate up to 10 academically distinguished seniors for consideration to receive a William & 玛丽 Scholars Award, which includes a full tuition and fees scholarship.
The best part? No additional student award application is needed from the student (beyond the Common App and financial aid applications).
William & 玛丽 Leadership Award
Nominate a current junior (Class of 2025) from your high school who is a dynamic leader within your school community. This prestigious award is presented to one student at each high school in Virginia and select high schools across the United States. The nomination process will open on February 15.
